ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD
While most casinos are getting rid of their coin, the Las Vegas Hilton has found a silver lining in the trend. Out of the Hilton vault and onto the casino floor came Morgan silver dollars, which were produced prior to 1921. The Hilton Morgan silver dollars, specifically, are dated 1904 and prior, with many of them from the late 1800’s. Six three- coin Red, White and Blue slots, located in the casino, feature the Morgan dollars on display. The top award pays $25,000 or 1,000 Morgan silver dollars. The person who wins the silver dollars can have the coins mailed to their home registered - return receipt - and insured. Sure, the winner could put it in a bag and carry it out, but 70 pounds is a lot to be carrying.
