MANILOW RESCHEDULING MAY 2-5 SHOWS
Barry Manilow, who headlines at the Las Vegas Hilton through 2008, will have his May 2-5, 2007 dates moved to later in the year due to scheduling conflicts. The new dates will be announced when confirmed. Manilow opened Music and Passion at the resort on February 23, 2005.

‘LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT’ AWARD FOR PISCOPO
Joe Piscopo, who headlines in Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton Sundays-Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m., received a “Lifetime Achievement” award from the Cuisine Club of Las Vegas this Wednesday (February 28). The award was presented at a ceremony in the resort’s Tempo lounge, with approximately 30 members of the club attending. The award was designed to honor Piscopo’s humanitarian efforts through the years, including Jersey Joe's Gyms, a Newark program involving the city's police department and Boys and Girls Club, and his own foundation, “The Positive Impact Foundation.” The foundation creates positive media for at-risk youth, including the syndicated television show for teens, “Positive Impact TV.”

SUNSET STRIP, LIVE AND RECORDED
Glenn Medas and Michael Chambers, producers of the high-energy group, Sunset Strip, at the Las Vegas Hilton’s Shimmer Cabaret, have produced a CD for fans who love the live show. The CD, recorded live, features "the Best of the Best" of Sunset Strip and is available for sale nightly at the show or through www.sunsetstriplasvegas.com.

BASEBALL PROPS REPORTING
Major League teams are in spring training and preparing for the season. The Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook has posted approximately 100 propositions for the season. Along with over/under regular season wins, the SuperBook has a variety of props to keep all baseball fans in the action throughout the entire year. Some of these include; most home runs by any player at 51 ˝, most strikeouts by any pitcher 243 ˝, total win by San Francisco’s Barry Zito 14 ˝, and total hits by Derek Jeter 194 ˝. WILL THE DOUBLE MINT TWINS PLAY DOUBLE DECK BLACKJACK?
Double Deck Blackjack has returned to the Las Vegas Hilton, with three tables offering the popular version of the game.

PLAY A MACHINE, WIN A MACHINE
Local players at the Las Vegas Hilton could play a video poker machine… and win it as well! 15 video poker machines located in the SpaceQuest casino of the Las Vegas Hilton will be given away to local players who are members of the Resorts Destination Casino Club. A member (who is a Nevada resident) has to have his or her card in the machine when they hit a Royal to qualify. The promotion runs March 1 – March 31. Complete rules, including certain restrictions are posted at the casino.

WITH WHEELS, OR WITHOUT, IT’S ALL IN VEGAS
The International Travel Goods, Leather and Accessories Show (ITLA) which is in Las Vegas (including the Las Vegas Hilton) February 27-March 1, attracts over 6,000 attendees and is the largest show in the world dedicated to luggage, leather goods, travel and business accessories. The Travel Goods Association (which organizes the show) members include wholesalers, suppliers, retailers and independent sales representatives. TGA also publishes a bimonthly magazine, Travel Goods Showcase, with a circulation of 15,000 and a readership of more than 45,000 retailers, manufacturers, and major media.
