CLASSIC LAS VEGAS HILTON ADDS NEW ROOM PRODUCT AS PART OF CONTINUING PROPERTY TRANSFORMATION
RENOVATED AND REFURBISHED TOWER ROOMS UPDATED FOR 2007 AND BEYOND
LAS VEGAS—The classic Las Vegas Hilton, which began its modern transformation three years ago after its purchase by Colony Resorts, has just introduced a new room product in its North and East towers.
The completely renovated and refurbished rooms feature new, luxurious beds, premium bed linens, an elegant pillow package, 37” plasma TVs, wireless Internet access, high-end amenities and MP3 ports for digital players.
There are now 923 North Tower and 600 East Tower rooms updated for 2007 and beyond. The Las Vegas Hilton boasts 3,000 rooms and suites.
“Our goal is to provide an ambience of the rich history and classic look of the Las Vegas Hilton combined with the latest amenities for comfort and state-of-the-art technologies for convenience of our guests,” said Rudy Prieto, CEO and general manager of the Las Vegas Hilton.
In addition to the renovated and refurbished rooms in the North Tower, 221 executive level “Resort Club” rooms have been added, offering additional amenities and access to the “Resort Club” lounge on the 24th floor.
The “Resort Club” rooms offer luxurious bedding, premium linens, and pillows, plush spa robes, upgraded bathroom amenities, slippers, free wireless Internet access, IPOD Docking Station, 37” plasma television, in-room business printer, safe and refrigerator.
The “Resort Club” lounge on the 24th floor, featuring complimentary food and beverage selections, power breakfast, afternoon cookies and light snacks, and complimentary evening wine and cheese reception.
Since 2004, the Hilton has spent more than $100 million dollars in construction and renovation projects, creating a stunning new lobby, remodeled porte-cochere, enhanced and modernized casino, a new hip Tempo lounge, Fortuna, a coffee & wine experience, and an expansion of its legendary SuperBook. The property also introduced a strong entertainment schedule led by superstar Barry Manilow in the Hilton Theater, the popular production show, “Menopause the Musical,” and The Scintas in the Shimmer Cabaret.
