“LAUGH OUT LOUD WITH THE SCINTAS” DEBUTS AT LAS VEGAS HILTON SEPTEMBER 24
LAS VEGAS—The Scintas, the Buffalo, New York foursome who seven years ago won the heart of Las Vegas, will debut their new show, “Laugh Out Loud with The Scintas,”at the Las Vegas Hilton September 24.
“We are delighted that the Scintas are coming to the Hilton’s Shimmer Cabaret with their innovative production,” said Ken Ciancimino, the resort’s executive vice president. “They bring vitality and a name that will clearly add to our strong entertainment roster.”
“Laugh Out Loud with The Scintas” is the result of a new collaboration that brings together a contemporary European approach from ASIENT matched with the tremendous talents of Las Vegas’ leading group of entertainers, The Scintas. LOL includes many new sketches and lots of new music but, of course, there are still some favorites. This is clearly the Scintas that audiences love, but seen in a brand new light.
ASIENT Entertainment’s Andy Walmsley and Steve Parker have worldwide credits that span television, stage, Las Vegas entertainment and rock and roll, the two have been critical in the success of projects involving David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and even Harry Potter. TV viewers in the US are already familiar with the work of ASIENT on, amongst others, American Idol, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent.
Also key in this production is comedy writer Dave Boone whose credits include the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, Jay Leno, David Letterman and Brad Garrett, among many others.
For more than two decades, The Scintas — Frankie, Joey and Chrissi Scinta and Pete O’Donnell — have entertained audiences nationwide. No strangers to headlining on the Strip the Scintas look forward to making the Hilton their new home and “LOL” is the next step in their highly successful career.
“Laugh Out Loud with The Scintas” opens September 24 in the Shimmer Cabaret.
